How to Multiply Fractions

To multiply fractions, you multiply the numerators together and the denominators together:

\( \frac{a}{b} \times \frac{c}{d} = \frac{a \times c}{b \times d} \)

After multiplying, it's always good practice to simplify the fraction to its lowest form.

Why Simplify Fractions?
